Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable disease affecting one in every 600 people in the UK. Its severity and symptoms are different from one person to the next.1
To identify the gaps or ‘missing pieces’ in knowledge, awareness, treatment pathways and care plans, which are preventing people with MS from accessing the right treatment, the pharmaceutical company Sanofi has launched a campaign in the UK called ‘The Missing Pieces’. It has explored the attitudes of people with MS and their healthcare providers towards treatment in the UK and underlines the need to challenge our thinking around treatment goals and end-points and what we measure in clinical research.
